Brief CV of Dr Kim Siea Lee, Consultant Plastic Surgeon
Dr Kim Siea Lee is a British trained Plastic surgeon from Penang, Malaysia. He qualified as plastic surgeon in 1996 and he has been practicing as a consultant plastic surgeon for more than 28 years. He graduated from University of Malaya in 1986. After going through various postings, he obtained his post graduate Diploma in general surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1990. In 1992, he went to United Kingdom for his specialist training in Plastic surgery. In 1996 he was awarded Diploma in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Dr Lee has always been in the forefront of cosmetic surgery. He is well known for his work in fat grafting to both face and breasts where he advocates the use of stem cells enriched fat for grafting and also in combination with implants for better aesthetic results. He is also active in training and teaching, speaking in many international medical meetings and conferences, performing live demonstration for fillers and toxin and live surgeries. He was the first chairman of The Asia Aesthetic Breast Council, past secretary general of Malaysian Association of Plastic Aesthetic and Craniomaxillofacial surgeons. In addition, he is a member of a number of Plastic surgery related Societies. He was listed in the Malaysia’s whose who in 2013/14. In January 2016, he was chosen to receive the prestigious CHT award for the pursuit of excellent in Aesthetic Surgery
He is currently working in his clinic (The M Clinic) in both Kuala Lumpur and Georgetown, Penang, he is also an associate consultant in a few Hospitals in Penang and Kuala Lumpur. He is a senior faculty member of the Allergan Medical Institute and regional trainer for Allergan, trainer for fat grafting and APTOS threads.
